Overview On Request For Information Regarding Personal Data In Accordance With Law No 6698
1. INFORMATION ABOUT THE APPLICATION
In Article 11 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698, the rights of the data owner are stipulated. In the law, the data owner is deemed to be a “relevant person” and the right to make certain requests regarding the processing of the data is foreseen. Pursuant to this article, the claim rights of the person concerned are as follows:
a) To learn whether personal data is processed or not,
b) If their personal data has been processed, to request information about it,
c) To learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose,
ç) To know the third parties to whom personal data are transferred at home or abroad,
d) Requesting correction of personal data if it is incomplete or incorrectly processed
e) To request the deletion or destruction of personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in Article 7 of the law titled “Deletion, destruction or anonymization of personal data”.
f) Requesting notification to third parties to whom personal data has been transferred, that the incomplete or incorrectly processed data has been corrected or that the data has been deleted or destroyed upon the request of the person concerned,
g) Preventing the occurrence of a result against the person himself by analyzing the processed data exclusively on the drawings of automatic objects,
h) To request the compensation of the damage in case of loss due to unlawful processing of personal data.
Applications must belong to the person concerned. An application cannot be made for a request for information regarding the personal data of another person. If IFA LSL FASHION EDUCATION AND CONSULTING LIMITED COMPANY (hereinafter referred to as “IFA LSL” or “Company”) suspects the identity of the applicant, it may request further information from the relevant person for confirmation. If it is determined by IFA LSL that an application has been made on behalf of someone else in the information request, IFA LSL reserves the right to all kinds of lawsuits and claims.
2. INFORMATION ABOUT THE APPLICATION PROCEDURE
To use the registered electronic mail (KEP) address, secure electronic signature, mobile signature or the e-mail address previously notified to the data controller by the data controller and registered in the data controller’s system, in writing to IFA LSL, which is the data controller, regarding your rights mentioned above. 3. INFORMATION REGARDING THE RELATED PERSON REQUESTING INFORMATION
If the name, surname and application are written in the information request you have sent to us, the signature, Turkish ID number, nationality for foreigners, passport number or identification number, if any, place of residence or workplace address for notification, e-mail address for notification, telephone and fax number, if any, and the subject of the request must be stated in full. If such information is missing, your information requests will not be met by IFA LSL. In case of inaccurate or incomplete information, IFA LSL does not accept any responsibility with regard to the fact that the request is not answered.
